Donghwa cultural Foundation, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization, which promotes and educates Korean heritage and culture to the American society through education, including programs on most aspects of traditional Korean culture, language, arts, manner, food and etc.
We are pleased to announce that Donghwa presents “American Youth Calligraphy/Korean Brush Painting Competition 2009” on August 15, 2009.
The competition is opened to all children and students between 1st-12thgrade. The three prizes (the Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes) will be presented to the winners of each category of calligraphy and Korean Brush Painting with $300 scholarship for the Gold prize winners. An opportunity of four day exhibition from August 19 to August 22, 2009 at Donghwa will be provided to all winners to share their work and excellence with families, friends and community members.

Brush painting (Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum and bamboo)
