Join us for a special lecture by Professor Djun Kil Kim, author of The History of Korea, on how we can look at the different aspects of Korean history from the pre-modern to the modern period from an increasingly global and diplomatic point of view. 

 


About Djun Kim Kim:
Professor Kim is the current Professorial & Research Chair of the Samsung Korean Studies Program at University of Asia & the Pacific in Manila, Philippines. In 2011, he received the Global Korea Award by the Council on Korean Studies at Michigan State University for his contribution to Korean studies. He was also awarded "Diplomat of The Year 2011" by the Youngsan Foundation affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea.
