Korean Cultural Center New York and NYPL: St. Agnes Library co-present Korean Storytime.
Join us as we read Korean stories, songs, and rhymes! Korean Storytime will include reading Korean books (with English translation or explanation) and children will get to learn parts of Korean songs to get a better sense of the language. This special program will also include an additional hands-on learning experience. Knowledge of Korean is suggested, but not required; families welcome!
Theme for March: Ribbit Frog (개굴 개굴 개구리)
About the Instructor: Heuiju Kim
Heuiju Kim earned her B.A. in Korean Language and Literature from Yonsei University, and Certificate of the program for Education of Korean as a second language at Seoul National University's School of Education. Since 2008, she has been working as a teacher and program director at a weekend Korean School in Manhattan. She's been educating children and youth on Korean culture and language.
