On Seollal - Korean New Year, animal friends visited grandmother and grandfather’s house to eat tteokguk (Korean rice cake soup) and to do sebae (Korean bow). While they were enjoying the tteokguk, a scary tiger showed up. Will our animal friends be able to safely eat the tteokguk?
We will read a picture book titled <Tteokguk Story> and learn about the Korean holiday, Seollal. Students will also have the chance to learn how to write and speak Korean, plus how to make Korean rice cake soup together!
Storytime is a program for parents/caregivers and their children.
