Let’s play and learn Korean!

New Class every third Thursday of the Month at 1:00 PM

September 21st is Chuseok, one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea.

What comes to mind when you think of Chuseok? Perhaps the full moon?

On this day, families gather to make songpyeon (sweet rice cakes) and give thanks to their ancestors under the full harvest moon in the sky. In this September program, we are going to read a book about the full moon and learn the Korean words, ‘Chuseok’ and ‘full moon.’

We will also learn about the Chuseok culture in Korea.

Storytime is a program for parents/caregivers and their children. The parent/caregiver is suggested to be present during the entire program.

<Korean Storytime> is an online education program by the Korean Cultural Center New York and New York Public Library, St. Agnes. The program offers diverse themed storytime programs every month in Korean and English.
