Untold Scandal, a period drama set during the Joseon Dynasty, was one of the most highly anticipated Koreans films of 2003. A remake of Dangerous Liaisons, Untold Scandal tells the story of an infamous Casanova and an irresistable seductress's attempts to corrupt a virtuous young widow. Praised for its vivid characterizations and sumptuous set and costumes, Untold Scandal was honored at both the Pusan and the Berlin film festivals. Elvis Mitchell of the New York Times called it a "viciously purring Korean comedy of sexual conquest."

Guest speaker Bo-Seon Shim of the Korean Film Forum will give a brief talk before the screening and lead a general discussion afterwards. A reception will follow.
