A Tale of Cinema is an introspective film split into two sections. In the first, a boy meets a girl he used to like. In the second part, a man exits a theatre and begins following one of the actresses who appeared in the movie. Tale of Cinema was featured at the 2005 Cannes International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Palm. Sang-soo Hong is a renowned director whose films include Woman is the Future of Man and Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors. Guest speaker Ms. Hyun-Ock Im will give a brief introduction to the film and lead a discussion session afterwards.
