Ice Bar is a story of a boy who sells ice-cream bars to raise money for his trip to Seoul in search of his father. 

SHIN Ae-ra, a famous Korean TV-star, makes her big-screen debut with this film. SHIN plays a single mother whose son sells ice-cream. The son, Young-rae, played by PARK Ji-bin, is the recipient of the Silver Iris Award for Best Actor at the New Montreal Film Festival in 2005 for Hello Little Brother!

This childhood tale Ice Bar was presented in the Generation K-PLUS section at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival.
