This special screening of Korean films highlight the courageous lives of Korean independence fighters. The lineup includes Assassination (2015), Age of Shadows (2016) and Mal-Mo-E: The Secret Mission (2019).

2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Independence Movement, and the establishment of the Korean Provisional Government. Remembering a painful and complex chapter in Korean history, KCCNY is presenting a special screening of three Korean films that highlight the courageous lives of the independence fighters and Korea’s struggle for freedom.
