The purpose of the Exhibition

Through the exhibition, New York- Berlin Exchange Exhibition, Korean Cultural Service NY provides Korea artists in New York known as the hub of comtemporary art with an opportunity to communicate with artists in Berlin called in 'the paradise of artists. It should be great work to encourage Korean artists to set the start point to extend the influence of Korea art in the world

■ Deadline : June 15, 2012
All materials should arrive or be postmarked by June 15

■ Material for individual application 

  1. Application Form
  2. Current Resume
  3. 10 images
    -of the works available for the shows and whose height would ot exceed 6 1/2 feet in order to accommodate the gallery. medium not restricted.
    -in standard JPEG format with the titles on CD compatible for Window System.
    For video works, submit DVD, with each work not exceeding 10 minutes and compatible for Window system
  4. List of the image including artists's name, title, date, medium and dimensions
  5. Artist's statement related to the images of works submitted

■ Application Review
Application for the workspace are reviewed by a panel of visual arts professionals. The panel consists artists, curators and collectors. 

■ Finalist Announcement

Artists should be informed that once the materials are submitted, they will belong to the Korean Cultural Service NY. 
The materials will be reviewed by jurors in June, 2012
The finalists will be announced individually in July, 2012
