Concept Korea F/W 2014 Set to Grab Attention in New York – the City of Fashion

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST; Minister Yoo Jin-ryong), Korea Creative Content Agency (President Hong Sang-pyo), Daegu Metropolitan City, and Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry held Concept Korea F/W 2014 at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York on February 11.
This year marks the ninth season of Concept Korea, which consists of Main Concept Korea and Pre-Concept Korea. The aim of Concept Korea is to publicize Korean designer brands and support Korean designers in establishing a firm foundation abroad.
Main Concept Korea was held as part of official events of New York Fashion Week, aimed at supporting leading Korean designers in advancing into the US market. Main Concept Korea will include four leading Korean designers - Ko Tae-yong, Park Youn-soo, Lee Suk-tae, and Choi Bo-ko. The designers showcased uniquely Korean designs to have hallyu (the Korean Wave) reach New York, the city of fashion.
