Music from Korea, with bamboo flautist Jong Jin Hong and ensemble

An esteemed bamboo flautist, Jong Jin Hong will present a night of Korean traditional music with his ensemble. Since 1979, he has toured several countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, China, Japan, Thailand and North Korea (Pyong-yang). He is the recipient of Asian Cultural Council Scholarship in New York City and the 2001 I.N.M.C. Award from The International New Music Consortium at New York University. Currently, he is a professor at Ehwa Womans University in Korea. The performance is free of charge and open to public.
