Artists International takes pleasure in presenting as the Recipient of a Special Presentation Award, Hyun Park, in her New York Recital Debut.

Short bio on Hyun Park:
A native of Korea, Hyun Park began violin studies at the age of seven. She attended the Sun Hwa School for the Arts in Seoul where she studied with Seung Young Chung, Kyung Hee Yoon, and Min Kim. After graduation, Ms. Park came to the United States and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston as a student of Eric Rosenblith. She is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in violin performance at the University of Maryland, where she studies with Dr. James Stern, Arnold Steinhardt, and John Dalley. As a soloist, Hyun Park has given numerous performances in Boston, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Korea, including recitals a the Seoul Arts Center and the Kum Ho Recital Hall in Seoul. She also has performed with various chamber groups and received coaching from the Borromeo and Guarneri String Quartets. Ms. Park has toured China with the Hwa Um Chamber Orchestra, Russia with the Kairos Chamber Ensemble, and has appeared as concertmaster of the University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she has attended and performed at various music festivals including the Universitaet Mozarteum in Salzburg, La Schola Cantorum in Paris, and the International Musical Arts Institute in Maine. As an alumna of IMAAI, Hyun Park appears regularly in their concert series in New Hampshire.
