Winners 2009 Maria Callas Grand Prix: Yun-Jeong Lee and Jaesig Lee

Yun-Jeong Lee, soprano, and Jaesig Lee, tenor – the two grand prize winners of the prestigious Maria Callas Grand Prix Competition, held in March in Athens, Greece – will sing arias and duets in Carnegie Hall under the baton of Peter Tiboris who will conduct the New England Symphonic Ensemble. Both singers are natives of Seoul, South Korea. Their performance will be part of presenter MidAmerica Productions’ 25th Anniversary Concert which will also feature Maestro Tiboris conducting the Overture to Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and composer/conductor John Rutter leading his Magnificat.
