The Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proudly presents the second annual concert, “Korea 21: Music Here and Now,” in collaboration with the Gugak Broadcasting System in Seoul and the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association of New York (KTPAA). This rare concert will focus on new Korean traditional music and its modern performance aspects, changjak gugak, the newly emerging artistic phenomenon in the traditional music field. Artists such as Anaya, Project Sinawi and Vinalogue will present a contemporary interpretation sinawi and hybrid pieces that blend Korean traditional musical instruments and Western instruments.
