Sumi Jo, established world renowned soprano whose voice is praised as the “greatest gift from Heaven” by the late maestro Herbert von Karajan, and Tomomi Nishimoto, a promising conductor from Japan and newly appointed principal guest conductor of the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, will come together for an evening of classical music with The American Symphony Orchestra at the Carnegie Hall.
Program includes selections from J. Strauss Jr.’s Die Fledermaus, Dell’acqua’s Villanelle, selections from Verdi’s La Traviata, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5.
