Hyung-Joo Lim, a famous star of Operatic Pop Tenor (a.k.a. Popera Tenor) comes back to the Carnegie Hall for the concert commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War.
Lim has had many successful recitals in world-class stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Hollywood Bowl, St. Johns Smith Square Hall of London, Salle Gaveau, Wiener Konzerthaus, Berlin Universal Hall, Salzburg Mirabell palace Marble Hall, Tokyo International Forum Hall, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall in Taiwan, and much more.
He has also been invited to various national events such as Inaugural celebration concert for 16th Korean president Mu-Hyun Roh, Centennial of Korea-US Treaty of Amity-commemoration Music Festival, Korea-Japan World Cup One year commemorative peace concert, 2003 Daegu Universiad event Festival, Korean cease-fire 50th year commemorative ceremony, a commemorative concert at the Blue House for President of Island Mary Maccurlis’ visit to Korea, 2006 German World cup Cheer Concerts.
He has actively done recording works as well as concert. His albums have ranked for number one (No.1) in classical music charts in Korea for five consecutive years. And also he is beloved classic artists and familiar face to the general publics of Korea through hundreds of appearances in TV and Radio programs. His voice is heard through ears of people around the world.
