To celebrate the 30th anniversary of her debut and mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean War, the renowned Korean pop performing artist Insooni is ready to take New York City and the Carnegie Hall Isaac Stern Auditorium by storm.
Produced by Jiart Media, the concerts will be elevated from commercial performance to an artistic, cultural event showcasing Insooni’s exquisite-style of Korean pop music and delivering the best of Korean culture to the New York City audience.
Insooni made her debut in 1978 as a member of the all girl group, The Hee Sisters. Since then, Insooni has recorded nearly 20 albums and is called South Korea’s R&B Diva. Insooni was born to a Korean mother and an African-American father who served in the U.S. military in South Korea. Insooni was raised by her single mother. Finally, 30 years later, Insooni returns to her father’s home to perform at Carnegie Hall.
