New York Concert Artists and Associates presents Quentin Kim, a pianist and composer known for his caressing touch, extreme aestheticism and emotional sincerity. Quentin is a Grand Prize winner of the Grace Welsh International Prize for Piano and a First Prize winner of the Joong Ang Music Concours of Korea (piano), and recipient of an Honorable Mention from the 2009 Washington International Competition for Composers. Recently named a Doctor of Musical Arts by The Juilliard School, Quentin will perform Beethoven’s Sonata in F minor, “Appassionata,” Schumann’s Sonata in F-sharp minor, and his own Sonata in G-sharp minor.
