Due to weather condition and traffic problem, particularly caused by hurricane Sandy,
<KMF Concert Series: 'An Evening of Lieder'>, scheduled for Thursday, November 1st at 7PM, has been completely cancelled.
허리케인 샌디로 인한 교통 마비와 주변 사정을 고려하여, 11월 1일 오후 7시에 예정되었던 KMF 콘서트 'An Evening of Lieder'가 취소되었음을 알려 드립니다.
비록 공연은 취소 되었지만, 본 공연에 참여하기로 해주셨던 성악가 분들과 한국음악재단 관계자분들, 그리고 본 공연에 관심을 가져 주신 관객 여러분께 감사를 드립니다.
Korean Cultural Service NY & Korea Music Foundation proudly present a classical vocal concert, "An Evening of Lieder", comprised of two of Korea’s most talented musicians on Thursday, November 1 at 7PM. The concert will take place in the Korean Cultural Service NY.
"An Evening of Lieder" is comprised of soprano Seung Hee Lee, a native of South Korea, recently got a review from NY Times “increasing confidence throughout the evening” with her Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni; mezzo-soprano Ryu Kyung Kim who has performed numerously in New York and Europe, highlighted her recent seasons with two Avery Fisher Hall performances as Alto Solo in National Chorale's and Peniel Concert Choir’s Messiah, New York Recital Debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
The program includes Richard Wager's Wesendonck Lieder, Samuel Barber's Hermit songs, and The Book of the Hanging Gardens by Arnold Schoenberg.
