12 E. 33rd St, 5Fl, New York, NY 10016
The Korean Performing Arts Center is holding a special performance to celebrate Father’s Day on June 15. Students of the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association (KTPAA) will be on stage with their respective Fathers, playing Korean classics on both traditional and western musical instruments.
In the midst of the urban frenzy that is life in New York, Fathers and their children will create an oasis of calm, celebrating the special relationship between Father and child, as well as the unique cultural traditions which have been passed on between the generations.
We welcome all those who care to share in this event, for an insight into how cultural traditions from a faraway land can grow and flourish in modern times. Please come and enjoy, regardless of your own cultural background, for we will be celebrating universal values of family and love.
Admission fee (at the door) : adult $10 , student and senior $5
The concert is hosted by Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association. For more information, please call at 212-921-9344 or email at ktpaa@yahoo.com.
