Full Moon Drumming Workshop: Celebrate the Harvest Moon with a drum circle under a full moon in Flushing Town Hall’s beautiful garden with master drummers from the Colombian and Korean traditions. Begin with workshops on traditional Korean and Colombian drums then jam with the entire group in the garden under the Harvest moon. Colombian drumming workshop lead by Martin Verjarano, founding director of La Cumbiamba NY. Korean drumming workshop lead by Ji-Young Park and Song Hee Lee, members of the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association. All are welcome from beginner to professional, just bring your enthusiasm and participate!
