The Korean Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1965 in Seoul by cellist Bong-Cho Jeon. In 2015, the orchestra celebrates its 50th anniversary with a world tour, among other performances. This Carnegie Hall concert is also a part of UNESCO’s 70th anniversary celebration, with participation of UNESCO Artists for Peace Ino Mirković and Milton Masciadri. Mezzo-soprano Carly Paoli and South Korean violinist Soyoung Yoon join the celebration. Carly Paoli, who recently performed at Terme di Caracalla in Rome with José Carreras and Andrea Bocelli, participates thanks to EMMA for Peace.
