This program, featuring pianists and vocalists from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, celebrates the works of three titans of 20th-century American music: Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, and Aaron Copland. These three composers were all visiting artists at the American Academy in Rome. Along with selections by these composers, the concert presents two world premieres by more recent fellows at the Academy, Jonathan Berger and Vittorio Montalti.
