Artists
Violist Jung-Yun Lee has appeared in a wide range of venues, including Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall as a chamber musician and soloist. Ms. Lee has also participated in the Aspen Music Festival, Bach Festival. She has attended numerous string seminars and master classes with Karen Tuttle, “Coordination Workshop”, David Dalton’s “Primrose” and Hsin-Yun Huang, Jefferry Irvine, Roger Myers, Lawrence Dutton. Ms. Lee studied at the Mannes College of Music at the New School University and the Mason Gross School of Art in the Rutgers University, where she received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music Degrees under Karen Ritscher, Ira Weller, Paul Neubauer. Ms. Lee was awarded undergraduated and graduated division scholarship at the Mannes College of Music. When she was pursuing of Doctor Musical Arts at the Frost School of Music and the Mason Gross School of Art, Ms. Lee also was the recipient of the Graduate Internship Music Department award and earned full scholarship and stipend. Ms. Lee has earned the Advanced Certificate at the Steinhardt’s School of Education at the New York University. At NYU, she served as an adjunct instructor of string studies. In Korea, she performed at numerous concerts at the Seongnam Arts Center, Youngsan Art Hall, and the Sookmyung Woman’s university’s Contemporary music concert series. She also had solo recitals at Seoul Arts Center and Carnegie Hall.
