The Bergen Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Woomyung Choe, presents a Special Centennial Commemoration Concert with selections of the “songs” of man’s eternal struggles. This presentation commemorates the 3-1-1919 uprising and the courageous teenage schoolgirl who became the face of a nation’s collective yearning for freedom from Imperial Japan 100 years ago.
