A celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Korean Provisional Government and the 11th Anniversary of Korean Traditional Dance of Choomnoori

KTDOC is a dance troupe comprised of 2nd generation Korean-Americans and has been in the forefront of showcasing the beauty and spirit of Korean traditional dance. In this performance, KTDOC will present a variety of original Korean traditional dances as they celebrate their 11th anniversary and commemorate the centennial of the founding of the Korean Provisional Government.

For the past 11 years, KTDOC has been a cultural ambassador in spreading Korean traditional culture in mainstream American society while promoting mutual understanding and goodwill.

The centennial of the establishment of the Korean Provisional Government marks a significant year that places South Korea in the international stage, which the KTDOC hopes to bring light to through the performances of 2nd generation Americans.

The new generation of dancers hope to convey the message of hope and a bright future through their continuous, passionate efforts towards the globalization of Korean dance and enhancing the cultural narrative of our multicultural society.

The distinguished guests, Rami Seo’s World Music Ensemble and Jinhyun Park, will further add to the performance.
