The word “healing” in Korea became trendy a few years ago, and soon the term “work-life balance” joined the ranks. After that, “small but certain happiness”(so-hwak-haeng (소확행) in Korean) spread in Korea. This tells us something: People are not happy or satisfied. It means the world needs healing.
This piece of music and art is for those who feel anxious about the future.
Through this work, the singer Yelim Choi, delivers a message, “We have done well so far, and we have a bright future ahead, so let’s keep up the hope,” wishing everyone good luck in the future. We hope that 2021 will be a better year than before.
In line with the contemporary trend, special percussion instruments and electronic musical instruments (keyboards) are used to create a rich and popular sound for the piece.
