Youn Sun Nah presents her new album, Waking World. A rare opportunity to see to this Korean singer who offers unique and powerful performances. Using her vocal prowess and touching musical interpretations, Nah reaches an audience beyond jazz fans. Her personality and unique musical talents have been praised all around the globe. In the 2000s during her debut on the French jazz scene, YSN captured Le Monde's attention. They described her as "A UFO touching the universe of music with a magnificent voice and passionate originality." She has become one of the most popular jazz singers in Europe. In France and Germany, two of her albums have been awarded a Gold Disc. While touring extensively in Europe, she also performs in her native country where she is the winner of 5 Korean Music Awards. She is a regular guest at the Montreal International Jazz Festival and has been seen at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival, and Saratoga Springs.
