Founded in May 2012 with the theme of ‘Dream, Love, Vision, and the Peace,’ the Yeungnam University Chunma Youth Choir in Gyeongsan City, Korea has actively performed in the annual concerts and various youth choral festivals. In addition, Chumna Youth Choir has often been invited abroad for performances. In July 2014, Chunma Youth Choir had a successful performance at the music center of Hangju, China. In January 2016, the choir enjoyed the honor to have a joint choir camp with Austria Vienna Boys Choir, which ended with the outstanding performances at Austria United Nations, St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, and St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Vienna. Also, Chunma Youth Choir was invited to Singapore in July 2018 and had a successful performance.
As for winning career, It has been doing remarkable activities by winning the grand prize at the National Environmental Choir Competition and the Daegu World Choral Competition.
Beyond sharing the love of the music in public concerts, Chunma Youth Choir also serves in the community. While serving as the representative of the Gyeongsan City and Yeungnam University, Chunma Youth Choir plans to hold visiting concerts at various places, especially underprivileged communities and hospitals.
