The KCCNY X EnoB Spring Concert will feature captivating performances by globally renowned Korean artists Stefan Jackiw, Yoonah Kim, and ChangYong Shin. This concert aims to provide a platform for these exceptional artists to showcase their talents to a diverse audience in New York City.

◆ Violinist Stefan Jackwiv
Stefan Jackiw, a prominent American violinist, is celebrated for his exceptional talent and flawless technique. He has performed with renowned symphony orchestras across the United States, including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, and San Francisco Symphony.
In the 2023-24 season, Jackiw will return to the New York Philharmonic to perform the Barber Concerto under conductor Jaap van Zweden. He will also premiere new works at Roulette and tour Asia with the Taiwan Philharmonic and China National Symphony. Additionally, the Junction Trio, featuring Jackiw, will debut at Carnegie Hall. Jackiw has been invited to curate programs at the Edinburgh Festival.
In the previous season, Jackiw performed Britten’s Violin Concerto with the Cleveland Orchestra and Brahms with the Vancouver Symphony. He collaborated with cellist Alisa Weilerstein and pianist Daniil Trifonov at the 92nd Street Y and toured with the Junction Trio. His European engagements included performances at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Recently, Jackiw premiered new concertos by Conrad Tao and David Fulmer with various symphonies.

◆ Clarinetist Yoonah Kim
Hailed by The New York Times for her "inexhaustible virtuosity", clarinetist Yoonah Kim is an artist of uncommon musical depth and versatility. She enjoys a diverse career as solo clarinetist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, and educator. Yoonah launched her career when she won the 2016 Concert Artists Guild International Competition – the first solo clarinetist to win CAG in nearly 30 years, she joined the ranks of prominent solo clarinetists discovered by CAG, including David Shifrin, Michael Collins, and David Krakauer.
Yoonah is also the first woman to win first prize at the Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition and she is a first prize winner of the George Gershwin International Competition and the Vienna International Competition. Yoonah has given recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Chicago’s Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts series, Washington Performing Arts’ Music in the Country series, Chamber Music Society of Little Rock and Union County Performing Arts Center.
Yoonah is dedicated to expanding the clarinet repertoire through commissioning and premiering new works. She also serves as a guest principal clarinet with esteemed orchestras and tours internationally with chamber ensembles like Founders and Frisson.
In addition to her thriving performance career, Yoonah is dedicated to teaching. She is on the clarinet faculty at New York University's Steinhardt School. Born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Langley, British Columbia, Yoonah now calls New York her home. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at The Juilliard School as the C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellow. She holds a Master of Music degree from Juilliard and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Mannes College of Music at The New School, where she studied clarinet under Charles Neidich.
◆ ChangYong Shin
ChangYong Shin, a distinguished pianist, is acclaimed for his passionate performances and exceptional technique. He has won top honors at renowned competitions such as the Gina Bachauer International Artist Competition and the Seoul International Music Competition.
In the recent seasons, Shin has captivated audiences with his performances, including his debut with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, showcasing Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 5 at prestigious venues in Korea. He also mesmerized audiences with Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 alongside the Korean Chamber Orchestra and the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra. Shin's artistry has graced stages worldwide, from Carnegie Weill Hall to Paris's Salle Cortot Hall, collaborating with esteemed orchestras like the Utah Symphony and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.As a recording artist, Shin's albums have earned critical acclaim, with his debut CD being honored among the "Best New Recordings of 2018" by WQXR.
Originally from South Korea, Shin holds a Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music and pursued further studies at The Juilliard School under the guidance of Robert McDonald.
