The Korean Cultural Center New York is thrilled to announce the 2024 K-pop Dance Academy, which will be held at our newly opened venue! This exciting program is perfect for K-pop fans and dance enthusiasts eager to learn from professional instructors in a fun, energetic atmosphere.

This year, we’re offering two distinct classes:

  • K-POP Open Choreography Class, led by James Kho, where participants will learn James' original choreography which will combine K-pop style dance with industry style movement, as well as dance to popular K-pop music artists. This class is best suited for those with an intermediate level of dance experience, as well as a possible interest in the professional K-pop dance industry.

  • K-POP Cover Dance Class, taught by Winnie Chung, a well-known K-pop dance instructor from I LOVE DANCE, where participants will master latest K-pop dances. This class welcomes both beginner and intermediate dancers.

Both classes offer an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of K-pop dance, enhance your skills, and enjoy an interactive and exciting learning experience.

Each class is limited to 20 participants, so space is highly limited! Tuition is free, and successful applicants will be notified individually.

For further details or any questions, feel free to contact us at performingarts@koreanculture.org.

Stay tuned for more updates as we finalize the details for each class. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to dance with you!
