Sudden Enlightenment Theatre’s 10th Anniversary Season:The Road

Selections from three Eun Hee Kim works on this 10th Anniversary Season entitled "The Road." Director Kim and choreographer Hey Jeong Yoon will present excerpts from "Beyond the DMZ," dealing with the division of Korea over fifty years ago and the destruction of many families; "Dream of a Picture Bride," about the Korean mail order brides for Korean men working in the sugar fields in Hawaii in the early 1900s, and "49 Days After Death," inspired by the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which describes the 49 days after death to reincarnation.
