Yoon Kwon, violin

Violinist Yoon Kwon began her professional career at the age of 13 and earning the reputation of being the youngest winner in the history of the New Jersey Symphony Young Artists Auditions. Ever since she has performed extensively as a soloist with major orchestras, including the Cologne and Warsaw Philharmonics, the California, Cincinnati, Colorado, El Paso, Houston, Honolulu, New Jersey, New Mexico, St. Louis, Wichita and Vancouver Symphonies. Ms. Kwon's chamber music commitments include festivals in Switzerland, Italy, Finland, and a couple of cities in the United States such as Aspen, Santa Fe, Spoleto, Marlboro and La Jolla. In addition to her concert engagements, she is also performing as a violinist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and serving as a member of Chamber Music Two of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

The program includes the works of Bach, Ravel, Yesaye and Korngold.
