'For Peace and Harmony-Thank You New York Philharmonic' Concert

To commemorate the historical performance of the New York Philharmonic in Pyongyang, North Korea in February 2008, the You N Philharmonic, composed of 50 Korean professional musicians based in New York City, will present a concert entitled "For Peace and Harmony - Thank You, New York Philharmonic" on June 9, 2008 at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.
The You N Philharmonic will be under the baton of the guest conductor Maestro Eun Seong Park, the music director of the Korean Symphony Orchestra, who led the KBS Symphony Orchestra of South Korea in a successful concert in Pyongyang in 2002.
Michelle Kim (violin), the assistant concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, will also join the concert as a soloist.
The program includes Mozart's "Don Giovanni" Overture, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, and Brahms's Symphony No. 2 in D major.
