KMF Concert Series: Joung Hoon Song
Joung Hoon Song (violin and viola) has performed extensively in the United States, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Poland, Hong Kong, and South Korea. He has made numerous appearances as orchestra soloist including the Budapest Radio Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic and the Korean Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Song has also been featured on CBS radio's Classical Music in New York.
Mr. Song currently teaches at Boston University and Harvard University. He also serves as a Director of the Preparatory String Orchestra and a member of Faculties of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School for violin, viola and chamber music.
Piano accompaniment is provided by Evan Solomon, and Yong-Kyung Park (mezzo-soprano) will appear as a special guest.
The program includes the works of Faure, Bruch, Brahms, Handel and more.
