‘So Long for Now’, a piece by Korean choreographer Young Soon Kim in collaboration with composers Sam Crawford and Zeb Gould, forges a new artistic path, deeply invested in the meticulous craft of the body’s limitless capacity for expression. Creating contemporary dance vocabularies with abandon, ‘So Long for Now’ is a pure dance with intoxicating style, physical power and sensuality, surging with bold and charged movement. The exhilarating original score of ‘So Long for Now’ also includes music by Allen Won and Szymon Broszka. The work has six sections: What the world is made of, I see something/I see nothing, so long for now. The walks, Reminiscence and The Finale, and is performed by Young Soon Kim’s splendid company, including Miguel Anaya, Timothy Emmeett Lee ward, Fanny Gombert, Amanda Hinchey, Juhwan Hwang, Malcolm Low, Emily Pope-Blackman, Mei Yamanaka and Yin Yue.
East River Park enters at Delencey Street Bridge over the FDR Drive and walk south or via Cherry St/Jackson Ave entrance into Corears Hook Park and over the FDR Drive Bridge leading directly to the ampitheater.
