Tacit Group’s Artists Talk and workshop including mini-showcases will be held at the Korean Cultural Service NY. Tacit Group is an audiovisual performance group which is revolutionizing the concept of sound and performance in Korea’s arts field by incorporating dynamic disciplines like electro acoustic music, algorithmic composition, and visual art. Their digital tech foundation propels the group through various genres of performance from the audiovisual to interactive installation and even educational forums and courses. Using real-time projection mapping and computer graphics, Tacit Group creates unique performances that draw the audience into compelling soundscapes and stunning visual environments. Tacit’s core group consists of Jaeho Chang, composer, media artist, and professor at Korea National University of Arts and Jinwon Lee(aka GAZAEBAL), media artist and the first Korean to be acclaimed in British techno. Tacit Group will be performed at Frieda and Roy Furman Stage, David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center on December, 6 at 7:30 PM.
