Notes
Sweet Lost Pierrot
A multidisciplinary concert with music, video art, and fashion, celebrates the 100th year anniversary of Arnold Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire, Opus 21. Two contemporary pieces modeled after the Pierrot ensemble, David Lang’s soothing Sweet Air and Trevor Gureckis’s crystalline Lost Generation, provide a complementary contrast to Schoenberg’s dark atonal melodrama.
The performance is enhanced with set design by Caroline Pham and costumes styled and designed by Zon Chu, creating an immersive atmosphere and providing a rich visual context for the sound.
Free admission but RSVP required.
(This event has been already completely booked and we are unfortunately unable to take more submissions at the moment. We hope to see you at our next event.)
