A specialist at the Left Hand Alone repertoire, concert pianist Sung Tae Park returns to the stage performing with both hands for the first time since 2002, when he was diagnosed with focal dystonia, a neurological movement disorder.
Born in South Korea, Dr. Park has performed as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician in Asia, Europe and throughout the United States. He has gained distinction as the winner of the Mok Won University concerto competition in South Korea. He has performed with the Vratsa State Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria and Green Chamber Orchestra in Los Angeles. Dr. Park has also performed as a soloist in the IBLA Music Competition & Festival in Sicily and as a recitalist at the Shiloh Church of Christ in Harlem.
