Founded in 2010 by Steinway Artist Min Kwon; The Center for Musical Excellence (CME) provides training, individually tailored assistance, financial support, and professional opportunities to young musicians who wish to pursue their advanced education or musical life in the United States. This concert is part of one of its many programs through which CME continues the mission of “Moving Musicians Forward.”
CME is presenting a remarkable young artist, Heegan Lee, who is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall. He is an unusual pianist in that he started playing piano very late, at the age 16, and plays everything by ear and memory. The program will consist of beloved classical and popular selections, accessible to all.
