KCC the 14th Korean Dance & Music Night: Gamin and friends
Saturday, November 9, 2019 6:00-7:30pm
Korean Community Center
100 Grove St. Tenafly, NJ 07670
Ticket: Free (First-come, First-served)
The Korean Community Center has aimed to spread recognition and appreciation for our traditional culture and to instill cultural identity by showcasing Korean music and dance performances. Additionally, we have worked hard to illustrate the excellence of Korean traditional music to second generation Koreans as well as everyone else in our community. We are thrilled to have special performers this year, true leaders who opened up a new genre of Korean traditional music and are spreading our traditional culture globally. They would like to introduce the beauty of Korean traditional music by performing Korean traditional instruments such as piri, saenghwang, taepyungso, gayageum, and percussions. There will also be a workshop to provide deeper understanding of the instruments, and the audience will be given opportunities to experience playing the instruments themselves.
The event is free and open to the public.
