New York Dance Parade

22nd & 21st Street between Park & 5th Avenue, NYC
On Saturday May 19, 2012, over ten thousand dancers will showcase more than 75 ethnic and dance genres on the world stage of Broadway. After gathering between 22nd and 21st between Park and Fifth Avenue, the parade will start at 1pm. Then the parade group will walk down Broadway in dance’s chronological order. Korean Traditional Music & Dance Institute of NY will feature Korean traditional dance on the way. Then the parade group will gather at Tompkins Square Park for DanceFest. Tompkins Square Park will come alive with choreographed performances, workshops and social dance. Free to the public.
