Violinist Hee-Guen Song is giving her New York Debut Recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Ms. Song has performed actively in the New York metropolitan area as a member of Duo Venia, Urania Ensemble, Asian Artists & Concerts and Ensemble 212. Highlights of the 2008-09 season include solo appearances with the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble 212 and Camerata Academica de Merida in Mexico, as well as chamber music appearances in Merkin Concert Hall and Steinway Hall, among others. Hee-Guen Song was a prizewinner in the Henryk Szerying International Violin Competition and was also First-Prize Winner of the Kingsville International Competition. Program includes works by Beethoven, Grieg, Faure and Webern.
