Cool New York DANCE Festival originated in 2004 as a component of Cool New York, the City's winter celebration of "arts and parks" events. The 19 performances in this year's program will feature both young luminaries and well-known ensembles, bringing a wide spectrum of national and international talents into the New York City spotlight. Some of the outstanding companies scheduled to appear include: Heidi Latsky, Jennifer Muller/ The WORKS, Donna Scro Gentile/Freespace Dance, Sue Bernhard Danceworks, and WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company.

All the festival performances will be free and no reservation is required.
