I Musici de Montreal Orchestra with Wonny Song

Presented by federation of Korean-Canadian Associations, I Musici de Montreal Orchestra concert with Korean soloist Wonny Song will be held at the Carnegie Hall.
Led by conductor Yuli Turovsky, I Musici de Montreal is a Canadian chamber orchestra which is composed of 15 musicians. I Musici performs works that range from baroque to the contemporary. The orchestra records exclusively with Chandos Records of England and has released over 40 albums.
Pianist Wonny Song was born in Korea and grew up in Montreal. He has performed as a soloist with the Cincinnati Symphony, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the EuroAsian Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea and Thailand. Wonny Song is presently Associate Director and Director of Artists-in-Residence project of LAMBDA School of Music and Fine Arts in Montreal.
The program includes Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin, Piano, and Strings in D Minor, Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence for String Sextet, Op. 70 and Korean composer Cheonwook Kim’s The Sounds from Mountain Temple.
